Ukraine stands on the brink of a critically important phase that will determine the country's fate in the near future. During a closed-door meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the leadership of the 'Servant of the People' faction formulated a clear action plan. Faction leader David Arakhamia outlined harsh realities: the next six months will be a period of total mobilization of all resources and state institutions.

Top Priorities: From Energy to Diplomacy

The meeting, held in an extended format, gathered key players in Ukrainian politics: Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, and Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Budanov. The conversation was candid and covered not only current military operations but also fundamental questions of economic survival.

David Arakhamia highlighted priorities upon which the country's stability depends:

  • Ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the energy system amid constant attacks.
  • Guaranteeing timely payments to the population and support for the army.
  • Stabilizing the work of local councils and state institutions.
  • Diplomatic breakthrough: moving from words to real actions to achieve peace.

Special emphasis was placed on diplomacy. Arakhamia stressed that the discussion is not about 'freezing' the conflict, but about creating conditions to save lives and increase pressure on the aggressor. This requires an ironclad state position and unity among all branches of government.

End of Disunity: 'We Are in the Same Boat'

One of the most notable outcomes of the meeting was a change in the tone of relations between branches of government. Deputies present at the meeting noted that the atmosphere differed radically from previous ones. If there was previously a sense of disunity between the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the President's Office, a sense of shared goals has now emerged.

"Previously, it felt like we were acting separately. Now, there was a feeling that we are in the same boat," shared one of the people's deputies. Zelenskyy personally thanked his colleagues for their work and emphasized the critical role of parliamentarians in processes of European integration and ending the war.

Skepticism and New Working Formats

Despite the positive mood, healthy skepticism remains in the corridors. Promises of better coordination are not new, so some deputies are waiting for concrete results rather than words. Nevertheless, a decision was made to introduce a regular schedule for faction meetings with the head of state, although the exact frequency has not yet been disclosed.

More than 170 people's deputies were present at the meeting, indicating the scale of the issues discussed. Against the backdrop of these internal processes, the international situation remains tense: Zelenskyy held talks with the leaders of the UK, France, and Germany, discussing the US readiness to negotiate with Russia. Radical scenarios, previously voiced by advisor Podolyak regarding the possible end of the active phase of the war this autumn, depend on the outcome of the enemy's summer offensive.
