On the morning of June 14, Russian forces struck a light industry enterprise in Dnipro. As a result of the attack, seven people were injured, three of whom were hospitalized with moderate injuries.

Consequences of the strike on the city

Alexander Gandzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported on the scale of the destruction. According to him, the ceiling in one of the factory rooms was destroyed, and the production equipment suffered serious damage.

The situation on the territory of the enterprise required emergency evacuation and the work of rescue services. Doctors assess the condition of the injured men as moderate; they are under medical supervision.

Context of escalation on the front

The attack on Dnipro occurred against the backdrop of increased activity by Russian troops. On the night of June 14, Russia launched 98 attack drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the unmanned aerial vehicles, but individual hits were recorded.

In the early morning, the enemy carried out another attack, this time on Mykolaiv, where objects of two types of infrastructure were hit. The previous night, on June 13, Russia used 118 drones, three of which successfully reached targets at three different locations, while debris from shot-down aircraft fell on six other sites.
