On the night of June 15, Kyiv became the target of a large-scale combined attack by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. As a result of a massive strike involving missiles and attack drones, key objects in the capital were damaged, including the building of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACS).

Damage to the court building

According to the HACS press service, the court premises located at 41 Beresteyska Street were damaged during the shelling. At the moment, the institution's staff are assessing the total extent of the damage. Cleanup and mitigation work is underway on the territory.

Despite the incident, the court leadership has stated its readiness to continue operations. All court sessions scheduled for the current day will take place as planned. Should it become necessary to make changes to the schedule, up-to-date information will be promptly published for citizens.

Consequences of the night attack on Kyiv

The strike on the HACS building was part of a large-scale operation against the Ukrainian capital. On the night of June 15, other significant city objects were also damaged:

  • Damage was recorded on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
  • As a result of the attack, the Mystetskyi Arsenal cultural center caught fire.
  • A fire destroyed a unique collection of costumes at the Dovzhenko Film Studio.

According to the latest data, at least 30 people were injured as a result of the strikes, and four fatalities are known. Traffic on several streets of the capital was temporarily blocked, and public transport routes were altered.
