Bolt has officially confirmed that the Mercedes driver involved in the fatal car accident in Kyiv was carrying a passenger at the time of the tragedy. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement from Bolt Ukraine.
Service Response to the Incident
The company stated that the driver's account was immediately deactivated from the service upon receiving initial reports of the accident. "Our team is as shocked by this tragedy as the public. The driver's account was permanently blocked immediately after we became aware of the initial circumstances of the accident," the official statement reads.
