BlueBird Tech has unveiled an updated version of the "Chuyka" drone detector, now named "Chuyka 3.0". The key innovation of this model is the ability to output intercepted video signals from enemy FPV drones to external monitors. This solution aims to increase the efficiency of operators in command posts and headquarters.
Video Output at the Request of the Military
Previously, the device's built-in display was sufficient for individual operator work. However, military personnel working in command posts requested the ability to stream captured footage to large screens for collective situation analysis. In response to these requests, BlueBird Tech engineers integrated an analog video output via a four-pin mini-jack into the device.
The detector can now be connected to any external screen or television with an analog video input. This allows a group of specialists to simultaneously observe enemy actions, which is critical for making operational decisions.
Technical Specifications and Status
"Chuyka 3.0" is a three-band analog video signal detector. The device scans the airwaves at frequencies of 1.2 GHz, 3.3 GHz, and 5.8 GHz, ensuring the detection of unmanned aerial vehicles at distances of up to 4 kilometers. The full cycle of automatic scanning takes from 4 to 8 seconds.
It is important to note that the version with video output is not a mass-produced item. It is offered exclusively as an additional option for individual orders. The device's standard package remains unchanged — additional accessories are not included in the delivery.
Official Recognition and Product Line Development
The device has official NATO codification and is officially approved for use by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. This confirms its compliance with high standards of reliability and effectiveness in combat conditions.
The development of "Chuyka 3.0" was a logical continuation of the evolution of the detector line. Earlier, the company had already announced the creation of "Chuyka 4.0", which is equipped with an additional module for scanning space in a new frequency range. This testifies to the constant improvement of counter-drone technologies by Ukrainian engineers.
