The massive night attack by Russian forces on Ukrainian territory has left behind destruction and human casualties. According to the latest data, the number of fatalities in the Kyiv region has reached eight. This was stated by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, confirming the scale of the tragedy.

Scale of Casualties and Critical Conditions

The situation regarding the injured remains tense. In total, 48 people were injured as a result of the strike. Of these, 20 were urgently hospitalized. Doctors are fighting for the lives of three patients whose condition is assessed as critical. The other injured are receiving the necessary care for recovery.

Geography of Destruction

The most severe situation arose in the Bucha district, where 35 people were injured. Strikes also hit the Boryspil, Brovary, and Fastiv districts. The head of the Regional Military Administration emphasized that Russia continues to deliberately strike at the civilian population, destroying homes and ruining lives.

On the night of July 6, Russian forces employed a combined tactic, using ballistic missiles and attack drones. The most significant destruction was recorded in Kyiv and the surrounding region, particularly in the city of Vyshneve. In the capital, the most affected areas were the Podilskyi and Darnytskyi districts.

Evacuation efforts continue in Vyshneve due to the real threat of secondary detonations. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha reported the tragic death of an entire family as a result of a ballistic missile strike on the capital. Authorities are calling for just punishment for every such crime against civilians.
