The team behind the "Crazy Wedding" ("Skazhene vesillia") franchise has presented the official trailer and poster for the new comedy "Crazy Christmas" ("Skazhene Rizdvo"). After a five-year hiatus, the Seredyuk family returns to the big screen: the previous three films of the franchise were released in 2018, 2019, and 2021, and their story was later continued by the TV series "Crazy Neighbors". According to the team, together the three films grossed over 125 million hryvnias at the Ukrainian box office. The new film promises to continue this family comedy tradition, but this time the action revolves around a Christmas celebration that begins with deception.
A Christmas That Begins with Deception
At the center of the plot is Vasyl Seredyuk once again. To gather his children and their families for Christmas, he makes up a story about a severe illness and declares that this holiday might be his last. The relatives arrive, but the plan gradually gets out of control: when the children find out about their father's trick, the celebration turns into a test for Vasyl himself. Producer Yuriy Horbunov emphasizes that behind the funny situations lies a story about family warmth, love, and traditions, and audiences who have missed the characters of the "crazy" franchise will once again experience many comic situations alongside the heroes.
Three Generations at One Table
This time, three generations of Seredyuks will gather at the same table. Audiences will meet Katya and Francois's son, as well as Zakhar and Rada's children. For the first time, Francois's parents—Mr. and Mrs. Obameyang—and Rada's mother, a Romani baroness, will arrive in Yablunivka. Thus, the geography and composition of the family expand, and the Christmas meeting turns into a clash of three generations with different habits and characters.
