The Ukrainian currency market on the morning of July 3 demonstrated divergent dynamics. While the US dollar showed a downward trend, the European currency continued to rise in most banks and exchange offices. Let's find out where the most favorable buying and selling rates can be found today and what the country's largest financial institutions are offering.

Situation in exchange offices

According to the monitoring portal Minfin, at the start of trading on July 3, the average cost of the dollar in exchange offices was 44.75 hryvnias for purchase (a decrease of 5 kopecks). The currency can be sold at a rate of 44.63 hryvnias, which is 6 kopecks lower than previous values.

The euro behaves differently: the buying rate rose to 51.45 hryvnias (+10 kopecks), and the selling rate increased to 51.25 hryvnias (+8 kopecks).

Rates in the largest banks

The situation in the banking sector is also heterogeneous. PrivatBank reduced the cost of the dollar in branches to 45.00 hryvnias (-5 kopecks), while the card payment rate remained unchanged at 45.04 hryvnias. The euro in branches costs 51.55 hryvnias (+5 kopecks), and for cashless purchases — 51.54 hryvnias.

Oschadbank kept the dollar selling rate in the mobile app at 45.00 hryvnias, while for cards it is 45.10 hryvnias. The euro in "Mobile Oschad" increased by 20 kopecks and now costs 51.55 hryvnias, while the card rate rose by 10 kopecks to 51.65 hryvnias.

PUMB offers dollars in cash desks at 45.20 hryvnias (-10 kopecks), while the commercial selling rate remained at 45.10 hryvnias. The euro in bank branches increased by 10 kopecks and now costs 52.00 hryvnias.

Monobank maintained stability: the dollar is sold at 45.03 hryvnias, and the euro at 51.53 hryvnias.

Where it is most profitable to buy and sell currency

An analysis of offers allows us to highlight the most attractive options for clients:

  • Buying dollars: The lowest selling rate is offered by Monobank — 45.03 hryvnias. Among physical branches, the most favorable offer for individuals is PrivatBank with a rate of 45.00 hryvnias.
  • Buying euros: The leader in low prices is Monobank (51.53 hryvnias). Almost identical conditions are available at PrivatBank: 51.54 hryvnias for card payments and 51.55 hryvnias in branches.
  • Selling dollars: The highest buyback rate is offered by PUMB at the commercial rate — 44.80 hryvnias. Among retail offers, Oschadbank (44.65 hryvnias) and Monobank (44.58 hryvnias) lead.
  • Selling euros: It is most profitable to sell currency at PUMB at a rate of 51.30 hryvnias. The rate in exchange offices is slightly lower — 51.25 hryvnias.
