The Ukrainian currency market on the morning of July 31 demonstrated divergent dynamics: the US dollar continued a gradual decline, while the euro surged sharply, approaching its April maximum. Currency buyers should note that the cost of purchasing 100 dollars may vary across different banks, and the euro rate in some branches has already exceeded the 52 hryvnia mark.

Average market indicators

According to data from the Minfin portal, in exchange offices, the US dollar lost 9 kopecks in value and was valued at an average of 44.86 hryvnias for purchase. The selling rate (cash out) of the currency dropped by 10 kopecks to 44.75 hryvnias. Rates in the largest banks

Monobank, in turn, reduced the dollar cost by 5 kopecks to 44.98 hryvnias. The euro in the digital bank rose by 27 kopecks and now costs 51.80 hryvnias.

What this means for buyers

The current market conjuncture shows that the euro is approaching its April peak values, when its price reached 52.50 hryvnias. At the same time, the dollar demonstrates stable, albeit insignificant, price declines. The spread of rates between banks and purchase methods (teller or app) allows customers to choose the most favorable conditions for currency exchange.
