The Ukrainian currency market has taken a brief pause after several days of active growth. The dollar and euro have slightly decreased in exchange offices, while most banks have kept their rates unchanged. Experts note a transition to stabilization following the sharp rise in rates recently.

Average market indicators

According to Minfin data, the average dollar rate in exchange offices has decreased. Today, the average purchase price for US currency is 44.90 hryvnias (a drop of 10 kopecks), while the selling price is 44.80 hryvnias (a drop of 5 kopecks). Despite the correction, the dollar remains above the psychological mark of 45 hryvnias.

The euro also showed a decline. The average buying rate dropped by 15 kopecks to 52.20 hryvnias, and the selling rate fell by 10 kopecks to 52 hryvnias.

Rates in major banks

The banking sector reacted to the situation in different ways: some players lowered prices, while others kept them at the previous level.

PrivatBank lowered the dollar selling rate in branches to 45.10 hryvnias (-15 kopecks), however, the card rate remained unchanged at 45.24 hryvnias. The euro in branches costs 52.30 hryvnias (-15 kopecks), and for card operations — 52.35 hryvnias.

Oschadbank offers the dollar in its app for 45.20 hryvnias (-5 kopecks), and for card operations — for 45.30 hryvnias (-5 kopecks). The euro in "Mobile Oschad" costs 52.25 hryvnias (-10 kopecks), the card rate is 52.40 hryvnias (-5 kopecks).

PUMB sells the dollar at the commercial rate for 45.10 hryvnias (-10 kopecks), and in cash desks — for 45.30 hryvnias (-10 kopecks). The euro in bank branches costs 52.50 hryvnias (-10 kopecks).

Monobank maintained its positions: the dollar is sold for 45.24 hryvnias, and the euro — for 52.33 hryvnias. This remains one of the most favorable rates among major banks.
