At the beginning of Thursday, Ukraine's financial sector revised currency rates again. The market is showing interesting dynamics: the US dollar continues to hold near the maximum values of recent weeks, while the euro in some banks has begun to depreciate against the backdrop of yesterday's drop in the official rate.

Situation in exchange points

According to the Minfin service, the average exchange rate for the dollar in exchange points has risen by 5 kopecks. At the moment, you can buy American currency on average for 44.25 hryvnias, and sell it for 44.15 hryvnias.

The euro in exchange points shows no significant changes. The buying rate remains at 51.80 hryvnias, and the selling rate is 51.60 hryvnias.

Rates in major banks

In the banking sector today, there are predominantly spot changes in rates, mainly in the dollar segment. The situation in leading financial institutions looks as follows:

  • PrivatBank: The sale of dollars in branches has increased by 5 kopecks and amounts to 44.55 hryvnias. The card rate has risen to 44.64 hryvnias (+20 kopecks). At the same time, the euro in branches has become cheaper at 51.80 hryvnias (-10 kopecks), and the card rate has dropped to 51.81 hryvnias (-27 kopecks).
  • Oschadbank: Dollar rates remained unchanged. In the "Mobile Oschad" app, American currency is sold at 44.55 hryvnias, and for cards — at 44.65 hryvnias. The euro in the app has become cheaper at 51.85 hryvnias (-10 kopecks), while the card rate remained at 52.05 hryvnias.
  • PUMB: The bank maintains one of the highest dollar selling rates. In cash desks, the currency costs 44.70 hryvnias (unchanged), and the commercial rate is 44.50 hryvnias. The euro is sold at 52.10 hryvnias (unchanged).
  • Monobank: The bank raised the dollar selling rate to 44.62 hryvnias (+19 kopecks). At the same time, the euro has become cheaper at 51.80 hryvnias (-15 kopecks).

Buying dollars: The most favorable rate among banks is currently offered by PUMB at the commercial rate — 44.50 UAH. In PrivatBank, the dollar in branches costs 44.55 UAH, in Monobank — 44.62 UAH.

Buying euros: The lowest selling rates today are at PrivatBank and Monobank — at 51.80 UAH. In Oschadbank, the euro costs 51.85 UAH.

Selling dollars: The best dollar buying rate today is offered by Oschadbank — 44.15 UAH. In Monobank, the currency is bought at 44.11 UAH, in PUMB — at 44.10 UAH.

Selling euros: It is most profitable to sell euros now in Oschadbank — 51.35 UAH. PUMB buys currency at 51.40 UAH, and Monobank — at 51.20 UAH.
