The vehicle registration document (technical passport) is one of the key documents that a driver must have with them. The Main Service Center (MSC) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reminded citizens about which specific defects require immediate replacement of the vehicle registration certificate (VRC) and how to do this as quickly as possible without leaving home.

To simplify the document restoration procedure, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has implemented digital services. Now Ukrainians can exchange their vehicle registration certificate online, which saves time and avoids a visit to the office. After the application is processed, the ready document can be received via a postal operator at the specified address or by another method provided when ordering the service.

How to restore a vehicle registration document via Diia and the Electronic Cabinet

The restoration procedure is available through two main channels: the Diia mobile application and the Driver's Electronic Cabinet. The digital services of the MSC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are constantly expanding to make obtaining state services simple and comfortable for every citizen.

To restore the vehicle registration certificate via the Diia application, you need to:

  • Go to the "Transport" section;
  • Select the "Replace VRC" option;
  • Fill in the necessary data and confirm the application.

A similar procedure is available through the Driver's Electronic Cabinet on the MSC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs website. Here you can also choose a convenient method for receiving the new document.
