Daria Kharitonova, a participant of the 15th season of the romantic reality show "The Bachelor," has won the title of Miss International Ukraine. This was reported by Wave RBC.UA, citing the official Instagram page of the contest. The dancer and choreographer from Kyiv will now represent Ukraine at the international beauty pageant Miss International 2026, which will take place in Tokyo. The final, where the new crown holder will be determined, is scheduled for November 25, 2026.
From Television Show to Pageant Stage
Daria Kharitonova became well-known to TV viewers through her participation in the 15th season of "The Bachelor," whose main protagonist was basketball player Viacheslav Kravtsov. The contestant herself emphasizes that a deep understanding of the professional athletes' lifestyle helps her support Kravtsov. The Ukrainian already had pageant experience, having reached the final of the national contest "Miss Ukraine 2025" last year. Now she faces the challenge of making her mark on the international stage.
Athletic Achievements and Versatility
Sports occupy a central place in Daria's life. In competitive ballroom dancing, she holds significant titles: World Junior Champion and European Adult Champion. Beyond dancing, Kharitonova enjoys surfing, tennis, and horseback riding. She also works as a fitness trainer and models. In the business sphere, Daria develops her own clothing brand, Dary Design Studio, which she created together with her mother.
Charitable Activities
A separate direction in Kharitonova's work is charity. She joined a charity broadcast of the "Dancing with the Stars" project in cooperation with the Superhumans Center and the Ukrainian Women Unity project. In addition, Daria participated in the "Ball of Brave Hearts" held in support of the U+ prosthetics center. These initiatives highlight the social component of her public activity, which, according to the organizers' plan, will be taken into account within the new award format.
Miss International 2026: Format and Innovations
The competition program in Tokyo will run from November 11 to 27, 2026. According to the organizers, Miss International will be held for the 64th time this year. Representatives from 72 countries and territories are expected to participate. For the first time this season, nine new special awards are being introduced to recognize contestants' achievements in culture, education, performing arts, environmental protection, and other fields. The organizers state that the purpose of the innovation is to draw attention to the contestants' careers, social activities, and personal initiatives that go beyond the traditional pageant format.
Preparation for the International Stage
Since winning the title of Miss International Ukraine, Daria Kharitonova has about eight days left before the start of the competition program in Tokyo. During this period, she will prepare for her performance on the international stage, where she will compete with representatives from over 70 countries. For Kyiv and the Ukrainian beauty industry, a victory at such a level will be a prominent event, especially considering that this year the contest format has been significantly expanded with new nominations that take into account not only external data, but also the professional, social, and creative achievements of the contestants.
