The pharmaceutical giant «Darnitsa» continues to operate in normal mode. Despite the aftermath of the recent enemy attack, the company fully supplies the Ukrainian market with necessary medications. Official representatives of the manufacturer have refuted rumors of an impending drug shortage that began circulating on social media.
Refutation of rumors about drug shortages
The company's press service reported that information about a possible collapse of supplies is false. Messages appeared on the internet, allegedly citing «Darnitsa» management, warning that the market would face a shortage of life-saving supplies. Representatives of the manufacturer urged not to trust anonymous sources and assured that there have been no disruptions in logistics and production.
«We continue to produce medicines, production has not been stopped. We also continue to supply medicines both for Ukrainians and for export. There will be no shortage of medicines», — the company emphasized.
Financial losses and information security
Despite stable operations, the strike caused significant economic damage to the enterprise. According to preliminary estimates, the company's losses as a result of the night attack amount to tens of millions of hryvnias. This was reported by Ekaterina Zagoriy, a member of the «Darnitsa» strategic council, in a comment to LIGA.net.
It is important to note that the press service refused to disclose details of plans to diversify production capacities or further steps in the field of international advocacy. Company representatives explained this by security considerations: in wartime conditions, excessive detail of processes carries direct risks.
