The Ukrainian media space has been shaken by tragic news: on June 21, Denis Opara, better known to millions of followers as blogger Denchik, passed away. The cause of death was bilateral pneumonia. This was announced in an official statement posted on the artist's Instagram.
The post, which appeared on the blogger's page, came as a shock to his circle and fans. The text reads: "Denis passed away suddenly today. This news has been a great shock to everyone. The date of the funeral will be announced later. Sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew him. Eternal memory".
Close ones added a photo of Denchik in military uniform to the death announcement, highlighting his final life stage. In February 2026, Opara officially joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, took the oath, and expressed his readiness to serve the country.
From Street Performances to TikTok Star
Denis Opara is a native of Kharkiv who dedicated himself to music from a young age. He gained real popularity after moving to Kyiv, where he began performing as a street artist. His charismatic performances on Khreshchatyk and Maidan Nezalezhnosti quickly resonated with passersby.
In recent years, Denchik actively developed his accounts on TikTok and Instagram under the nickname Oparadenchik. On social media, he published music videos, covers, original tracks, as well as humorous clips and personal stories. His experiments and energy attracted the attention of thousands of people, although Denis's performances did not always find support from all passersby.
A Difficult Path: Assault and Conscription
The artist's life was not devoid of dramatic events. In September 2021, in the center of Kyiv, the blogger was attacked during a performance. Unknown assailants beat him unconscious, which became a serious blow to his career and health.
However, Denis did not give up. In February 2026, he published a video asking for the dissemination of information, stating that law enforcement officers detained him after returning from a nightclub and took him to the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC). After this, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stating: "I want to emphasize that I will faithfully serve the Ukrainian people. I have already taken the oath, everything is fine. Hold on, brothers and sisters".
