The automotive fuel market in Ukraine continues to show dynamics. While prices remain stable at most networks, the largest market players have decided to adjust their price lists downwards. The main event of Friday was the drop in the price of autogas below the psychologically important mark of 40 hryvnias, as well as the reduction in the price of diesel fuel.
Price reductions by market leaders
According to price monitoring data for June 26, significant fluctuations were not recorded at most gas stations. However, the state company "Ukrnafta" and the SOCAR network proceeded to reduce the cost of key types of fuel.
The SOCAR network revised its diesel fuel prices, setting the cost at 81.90 UAH/l and 84.90 UAH/l depending on the fuel type. Also, in this network, autogas became cheaper, dropping to 42.90 UAH/l.
Historical low for gas
The state-owned "Ukrnafta" took more radical measures. The company unified prices for two types of diesel fuel, setting a single price of 75.40 UAH/l. However, the main innovation was the reduction of autogas prices to 39.90 UAH/l. This event has symbolic significance, as the price has fallen below the 40-hryvnia threshold.
