The automotive fuel market in Ukraine has recorded new changes. While gasoline prices remain stable for now, owners of diesel vehicles and gas-powered cars have felt an increase in refueling costs. Over the course of a day, several major operators adjusted their price lists upwards.
Diesel fuel: a unified step up
According to daily monitoring, the most active changes occurred in the diesel fuel segment. Major networks, such as OKKO and WOG, simultaneously raised the price of all types of diesel fuel (DF) by exactly 1.00 UAH per liter. This decision affected a wide range of consumers, from private drivers to commercial transport.
Gas sector: a sharp price jump
Changes in the cost of liquefied gas (propane-butane) were even more noticeable. The WOG network increased the price of this fuel type by 1.60 UAH per liter immediately, which was the most significant jump among all recorded changes. The SOCAR network did not stay on the sidelines either, raising the cost of gas by 1.00 UAH per liter.
Position of the state operator
Against the backdrop of general price increases, the state company "Ukrnafta" maintained its pricing policy without changes. Keeping price tags at the level of the previous day, "Ukrnafta" continues to hold the status of the network with the lowest prices among the operators present on the market. This creates a certain contrast with private networks that react quickly to market fluctuations.
Monitoring results for July 29
Thus, as of July 29, the situation at gas stations looks as follows: gasoline prices are standing still, diesel has become 1 UAH more expensive in key networks, and gas has become more expensive by an amount ranging from 1 to 1.60 UAH. Owners of vehicles using alternative fuels are forced to review their expenses for maintaining their transport.
