On Ukrainian gas stations on Tuesday, June 9, fuel prices remained stable. Compared to the previous day, fuel costs have not changed; however, the price spread between different networks remains significant. This allows drivers to significantly save on their family budget by wisely choosing where to refuel.
RBK-Ukraine analysts monitored current tariffs at the country's leading gas stations and compiled a ranking of the most advantageous offers. The results of the study show that the state company "Ukrnafta" continues to hold the lead in fuel affordability.
Record savings on diesel fuel
The most tangible benefits can be obtained when refueling with diesel. At "Ukrnafta" gas stations, the cost of a liter of regular diesel is 84.90 hryvnias. At the same time, in major private networks, the price of this type of fuel is approaching the 88 hryvnia mark per liter.
Such a price difference can result in savings of more than 200 hryvnias for a driver on a single refueling, which is a significant amount in current economic conditions.
Gasoline: price comparison in popular networks
The situation with gasoline also demonstrates the advantages of state-owned gas stations over private competitors. As of June 9, current gasoline prices look as follows:
- "Ukrnafta": 44.90 UAH/l — the lowest offer on the market.
- OKKO and WOG: 46.90 UAH/l — identical prices for the two largest networks.
- SOCAR: 46.99 UAH/l — a price slightly higher than that of the market leaders.
The difference in the price of one liter may seem insignificant, but with a full tank, it becomes noticeable. For a car with a 50-liter tank, the calculation looks as follows: refueling at "Ukrnafta" will cost 2,245 hryvnias, while at competitors (such as WOG or OKKO), the receipt amount will be almost 2,350 hryvnias.
Thus, choosing a cheaper network allows saving about 100 hryvnias per trip to the gas station. In conditions of stable prices, choosing where to refuel becomes one of the few tools that allow car owners to optimize their expenses.
