Context: series of strikes on Russia’s logistics
This incident is part of a series of attacks carried out by Ukrainian military forces in recent days. For example, on the night of June 11, the Afipsk oil refinery was hit — a major fire also broke out there. Earlier, on June 8, the Ukrainian side reported serious damage to three major oil facilities in Russia, including the “Grushevaya” transshipment oil base in the Grushevaya Balka area, where two oil tanks caught fire.
All these strikes are aimed at infrastructure related to military logistics, industry and command of Russian forces. The attack on the Temryuk terminal is another element of this campaign.
