The DTEK Group has been included in the ranking of Ukraine's best employers for 2026, compiled annually by NV magazine. Following the evaluation, the company was recognized among the top employers in the energy sector, as confirmed by ranking data cited by RBC-Ukraine. Inclusion in the list was the result of a comprehensive assessment of the company's programs submitted for review to an expert jury and its own employees.

How the Ranking Was Formed

This year, NV's ranking included 50 large businesses and five medium-sized businesses. Employers presented their own programs across each of the key evaluation areas, after which these programs were assessed by both the companies' internal employees and an expert jury. Based on this dual evaluation, a final list of the top employers in various economic sectors was formed, with DTEK securing a spot in the energy category.

Four Key Evaluation Criteria

Employers in the NV ranking were evaluated based on four key areas: support for veterans and their families, talent retention and development, diversity and inclusion, and support for employees during times of crisis. Companies submitted their programs specifically along these blocks, which were then reviewed by the jury and evaluated by the staff. This approach allows employers to be compared not merely by financial indicators, but by the quality of working conditions and social policy within the company.

Context: DTEK's Other Accolades in 2026

Inclusion in the NV ranking is not DTEK's only recognition this year. According to delo.ua, in the "Best Employers of 2026" ranking—which featured nearly 200 companies—DTEK took second place. Organizers noted that the participants were recognized business and labor market leaders providing jobs for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and creating thousands of new jobs annually. Previously, the company was also recognized as the holder of the best veteran support program and ranked among the top 5 employers for veterans.

Who Is DTEK

DTEK is one of Ukraine's largest energy groups, part of Rinat Ахmetov's business empire. The company operates in the generation, distribution, and supply of electricity, as well as in related industries. Regular inclusion in employer rankings indicates that the company supports programs focused on staff retention and social support for employees, which is especially relevant amid crisis and high competition in the labor market.

Thus, DTEK's recognition in the 2026 NV ranking complements the company's series of awards in HR policy and confirms its position among the leading employers in Ukraine's energy sector.
