Ekaterina Doicheva, a former participant of the 15th season of the Ukrainian romantic reality show 'The Bachelor,' commented in an interview with Styler on assumptions that her television appearance was a calculated move to promote her own creative work. After Vyacheslav Kravtsov failed to hand her a rose at the very first party, Doicheva presented the public with her debut original track 'Chomu zh nam ne daruyut' under the stage name DOICHEVA. It is precisely this chronology—saying goodbye to the main character and almost simultaneous musical debut—that sparked speculation about a 'PR campaign.'

Music came first, but the original song was born after the show

Ekaterina herself categorically rejects the notion that she came to the project for the sake of a musical career. According to her, she was passionate about singing long before 'The Bachelor' filming, but previously she mostly performed covers. Doicheva claims the idea to write her own composition arose only after her participation in the show ended. 'I sang long before participating in the TV project; music has always been part of my life. Previously, these were mostly covers. And I wrote "Chomu zh nam ne daruyut" on the way home after leaving "The Bachelor," she shared in the Styler interview. Thus, following her logic, there was neither a plan nor preparation for a release until the moment her romantic acquaintance with Kravtsov was cut short.

Ten minutes of conversation and 'different energy'

Ekaterina's acquaintance with Vyacheslav Kravtsov ended at the show's first party. The main character did not give her a rose, explaining his decision by saying they had 'different energy.' In the interview, Doicheva suggested that in such a short time they simply failed to get to know each other well enough: their first conversation lasted about ten minutes. At the same time, she emphasized that a difference in temperaments is not always an obstacle to a relationship, as people with different characters can complement each other. In her opinion, Kravtsov saw only the cheerful and emotional side, whereas in everyday life she can be serious, especially when it comes to work.

Lariska the chicken and memes that became a trademark

The episode featuring Lariska the chicken, whom Ekaterina brought to her first meeting with Kravtsov, deserves special mention. This unusual appearance at the party became her season 'trademark': viewers began creating memes featuring Doicheva and Lariska, jokingly calling the bird the 'winner of the season.' Ekaterina herself treats this story with humor and does not hide the fact that it was her unusual image at the first party that attracted the attention of a new audience. After the broadcast, she began receiving significantly more messages from viewers who remembered her because of this episode.

'Perhaps if he had given me a rose, this very song wouldn't exist'

In the track 'Chomu zh nam ne daruyut,' Doicheva ironically plays on the story of the unreceived rose. She even suggested that if Kravtsov had decided to continue their acquaintance, her debut original song might not have existed at all. 'Perhaps if he had given me a rose, this very song wouldn't exist,' she noted. At the same time, Doicheva assured that she holds no grudge against Kravtsov and does not intend to reproach him for his decision at the first party. 'He didn't give me a rose, he didn't bite off my nose after all. We can communicate normally, be friends,' she joked. The girl does not rule out the possibility of seeing Vyacheslav again off-camera if he himself proposes continuing communication: she would be interested in learning more about his life and showing him her work, since it was he, according to her, who inspired her to write her first original composition.

Dates, schedule, and focus on the release

Following her participation in the reality show, Doicheva began receiving date invitations, but right now she is focused on her musical career and promoting her debut release. According to her, due to a busy schedule, she cannot always find time for romantic meetings, but she does not refuse new acquaintances and remains open to relationships. In her interview with Styler, she emphasized that she enjoys communicating with people who are interested in her life and work, and that the audience attention drawn by the show turned out to be an unexpected bonus rather than a planned result.
