Model and winner of the twelfth season of the show "The Bachelor" Ekaterina Lozovitskaya announced on social media that she is moving out of Kyiv along with her husband, singer Gidayat Seyidov. The celebrity published an Instagram story featuring numerous suitcases packed for departure, explaining that the decision is driven by the safety of their unborn child. According to her, the couple found "a safer place for the near future," and she emphasized that the move is temporary.
The decision to move: safety first
In her message to followers, Lozovitskaya admitted that the current pace of events makes maintaining social media nearly impossible. "I don't know how to keep up with Instagram at this pace. Today we are leaving Kyiv. Due to my pregnancy, we decided to find a safer place for the near future," the model wrote. She did not hide her emotional state: "I am sad. I am anxious. After all, I love Kyiv with all my heart." At the same time, Lozovitskaya explicitly stated that she does not plan to say goodbye to the capital forever and hopes the situation will allow the family to return soon.
First child: pregnancy announcement
The news of the move came just a day after another significant event in the couple's life. On November 6, 2026, Ekaterina Lozovitskaya and Gidayat Seyidov officially announced they are expecting their first child. The couple published a tender black-and-white photoshoot where the mom-to-be poses in a tight dark dress highlighting her rounded belly, while her husband gently hugs and kisses her. At the time of publication, the couple did not disclose the term of the pregnancy or the baby's gender.
From concert to the altar: relationship timeline
The romance between Ekaterina and Gidayat became public in the summer of 2026. The singer proposed to his chosen one right during his concert, and on September 23 the couple tied the knot in a small circle of family and close friends. This is Lozovitskaya's first marriage, and now the spouses are preparing for a new stage—the birth of their shared child. Thus, less than three months passed from the couple's first public appearance to the announcement of the pregnancy and the move from Kyiv.
Context: leaving Kyiv amid the current situation
Lozovitskaya and Seyidov's decision to temporarily leave the capital fits into a broader context: in recent months, a number of public figures and regular Kyiv residents have made similar decisions, citing family safety concerns. Earlier, for instance, actress Irina Soponaru publicly explained her reluctance to leave Ukraine despite the difficult situation in the capital. In Lozovitskaya's case, pregnancy was the decisive factor: the couple consciously chose a temporary relocation while retaining the intention to return to Kyiv as soon as circumstances permit.
