An unexpected but warm meeting took place in Toronto between Ekaterina Ostapchuk and her husband's first wife, Elena Voychenko, as well as their shared children. The blogger arrived from Montreal with her one-year-old son, Timofey, to celebrate the showman's daughter, Emilia, on her 13th birthday.

According to RBK-Ukraine, citing Ekaterina's Instagram, the family gathered for a celebratory dinner. The focus was on the children: Emilia, Evan, and little Tim. The atmosphere was friendly, with a particular bond noticeable between the brothers.

"Tim seems to realize that this is his brother"

Ekaterina noted that her son showed special attachment to Vladimir's older children. "Tim and Evan are a separate love. I don't know how to explain it, but Tim seems to directly realize that this is his brother, because he hugged him as if he hadn't seen him in a long time. He loves all the children, but he treats Evan and Emilia in a special way," she wrote.

In the photo on her stories, you can see Timofey holding hands with Evan, while Emilia smiles next to her mother. Ekaterina also showed a gift that Elena — her husband's ex-wife — gave to Timofey. The gift became a symbol of the good relationship between the women.

"Children should not suffer from our quarrels"

The blogger emphasized that she sees no point in avoiding communication for the sake of formal rules. "If I start making up rules, the other side will do the same. In the end, there will only be quarrels, and the children won't see their father, and the father won't see the children. Moreover, she treats Tim and me super well, just as I treat them," Ekaterina explained.

After dinner, the group took a walk around the city. Vladimir spent time with his sons, while Ekaterina chatted with Emilia and Elena — discussing daily life, school, and life in general. The meeting ended with hugs. Ekaterina admitted she would be happy to repeat it in Montreal.

"Peace is possible when both sides want peace"

"I have no resources to live in quarrels. And I don't see any reasons either. It seems to me that when both sides wish for 'peace', it will happen. When both sides feel a normal attitude towards each other, there are no reasons for conflicts," she emphasized.

Recall that Ekaterina announced her decision to emigrate in April. Thoughts about moving had arisen a year earlier. The shelling of Vladimir's house had a residual impact. "My husband is a Canadian resident, and his older children also live there, so moving there now seems natural and logical to us," the blogger explained.

Shortly before the move, the couple had a secret wedding in Lviv. Now they live in Montreal, but they try to maintain contact with the family in Toronto — and, it seems, it is working.
