Detailed rates in leading banks
Pricing specifics in individual financial institutions show that there is no single standard. The spread of rates depends on where exactly the exchange takes place — at a branch teller or through a mobile bank.
- PrivatBank: In tellers, the dollar rose by 3 kopecks and now costs 44.48 hryvnias. Cashless transactions offer a rate of 44.44 hryvnias. The euro in the teller costs 52 hryvnias (+5 kopecks), while card purchases are at 52.08 hryvnias (-2 kopecks).
- Oschadbank: In the mobile app, the dollar is offered at 44.50 hryvnias (+5 kopecks), and by card at 44.60 hryvnias (+5 kopecks). The euro in the app costs 51.90 hryvnias (+5 kopecks), and by card at 52.10 hryvnias (+5 kopecks).
- PUMB: The bank maintained yesterday's quotes. The dollar in the teller costs 44.60 hryvnias, cashless is 44.40 hryvnias. The euro in branches is offered at 52 hryvnias.
- Monobank: The fintech bank did not change its terms. The purchase rate is 44.43 hryvnias for the dollar and 52 hryvnias for the euro.
Where is it more profitable to buy currency?
An analysis of offers on June 2 allows us to highlight the most profitable options for buyers. The difference between the teller rate and digital exchange can be significant — up to 10–15 kopecks per dollar. For a large sum of 1000 dollars, this means savings of 100–150 hryvnias.
For the US dollar, the best cash rate is offered by PUMB (44.40 UAH), while for cashless purchases, the most attractive option is Monobank (44.43 UAH). As for the euro, the most favorable conditions at the moment are offered by Oschadbank in the mobile app with a rate of 51.90 hryvnias.
Thus, before exchanging currency, it is worth carefully studying the conditions of different banks and comparing rates for cash and cashless transactions to minimize expenses.
