The US dollar demonstrates moderate growth in the retail segment, adding up to 40 kopecks, while the European currency shows a downward trend in both banking institutions and currency exchange offices.

Dynamics of the Cash Market and Exchange Offices

According to aggregated data from specialized Minfin monitoring, on the morning of October 2, average rates in exchange offices were fixed at 44.98 UAH per dollar for sale (7 kopecks higher than the previous day) and 44.83 UAH for purchase (+5 kopecks). The European currency is trading lower in exchange points: the selling rate is set at 51.30 UAH (–10 kopecks), and purchasing at 50.90 UAH (–20 kopecks). Financial analysts note that such fluctuations reflect the current balance of supply and demand.

Exchange Rates in Leading Commercial Banks

Major Ukrainian banks have updated their price tags for cash operations and cashless card payments. In particular, PrivatBank sells cash dollars at 45.15 UAH, while for card operations the rate reaches 45.24 UAH. Oschadbank via its mobile application offers sales at a similar price of 45.15 UAH, whereas the card rate is 45.25 UAH. PUMB set the commercial selling rate at 45.10 UAH, and cash at 45.30 UAH. Monobank offers dollar purchases at 44.80 UAH with sales at 45.19 UAH.

Where It Is More Profitable to Buy and Sell Currency

Experts analyzed current market proposals to find the most favorable conditions for citizens. The cheapest US currency can be purchased today at PUMB at the commercial rate (45.10 UAH). Among banking proposals for the euro, Monobank leads with a minimum selling rate of 51.01 UAH. Regarding selling currency to banks, the highest dollar purchase rates are offered by Mobile Oschad and PrivatBank for cards (up to 44.75 and 44.70 UAH respectively), while it is most profitable to sell euros through PUMB and Oschadbank.
