On Wednesday, June 17, the Ukrainian foreign exchange market remained calm. The situation regarding the exchange rate of the national currency against major foreign currencies did not undergo radical changes, staying within the range familiar to the market. The US dollar is holding steady around the 45 hryvnia mark, while the euro continues to trade above the psychologically important level of 52 hryvnias.

Experts and analysts note that volatility in the market is minimal. Most major financial institutions have not changed their price lists, preferring to maintain current conditions for clients. Nevertheless, even in conditions of stability, small differences in buying and selling rates can be found, which are significant for large transactions.

Situation in exchange points

The situation in the "black" market and private exchange points also remains stable. According to Minfin service data, the average dollar rate has hardly changed compared to the previous day. The average price for buying American currency was 44.90 hryvnias (an increase of 3 kopecks), while the selling price was 44.80 hryvnias (unchanged).

The European currency also demonstrates stability. The average buying rate for the euro was fixed at 52.35 hryvnias (+2 kopecks), and the selling rate at 52.20 hryvnias (+7 kopecks). These figures indicate that supply and demand in the market are in equilibrium.

Rates in the largest banks

In the banking sector, the average buying price for the dollar dropped to 44.64 hryvnias (-12 kopecks), and the selling price to 45.09 hryvnias (-5 kopecks). Banks offer to buy the euro at an average of 51.76 hryvnias (+5 kopecks), and sell it at 52.42 hryvnias (-4 kopecks).
