A powerful explosion occurred at an ammunition depot in the Belgorod region, causing significant damage to the residential sector. The incident took place in the area of the village of Belovskoye in the Belgorod district. According to eyewitnesses, the initial explosion was so strong that it triggered a secondary detonation, after which a column of thick smoke rose over the site.

The shockwave from the explosion caused serious damage to the infrastructure of the settlement. As a result of the incident, three apartment buildings and more than twenty private homes were damaged. Eyewitnesses report broken windows, damage to the integrity of roofs and facades, as well as damage to entrance areas. In addition to residential buildings, one administrative building also suffered damage.

The enterprise, which is part of the CJSC "Chernomortransneft" ("Transneft") system, is considered one of the largest oil storage facilities in the Caucasus. A large fire broke out at the site after the attack.

Also on the night of June 8, multiple explosions were recorded in occupied Mariupol. The most active episodes occurred in the area of the Drama Theater, the Left Bank area, and the port zone. According to reports, an air defense system and mobile fire groups of the occupying forces were operating in these areas.

Earlier, on June 6, an attack by unknown drones was recorded in one of the cities of Russia, leading to a fire at an oil depot. In the Krasnodar Krai, warnings about the threat of drone use were received as early as the night, and by morning, local communities began publishing recommendations for residents on actions to take in the event of a possible attack.
