A sensational scandal related to corruption has erupted within the ranks of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces (USF). The unit's internal security service exposed an official who demanded a bribe to secure employment for a serviceman within the USF structure. The amount extorted was $2,000 USD.
Case transferred to investigators
Information about the incident was confirmed by the Commander of the USF, Robert Brovdy, also known by the callsign Madyar. According to him, all collected materials and evidence regarding the transfer of bribes have already been handed over to the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI). This was made possible thanks to the work of the internal security service, which detected the fact of illegal actions at an early stage.
Brovdy emphasized the principled position of the command: the Unmanned Systems Forces operate under a policy of "zero tolerance" towards corruption, violence, and bribery. Any attempts to undermine discipline and trust within the grouping will be ruthlessly suppressed.
The problem of "gastarbeiters" and traitors
The Commander also touched upon a broader problem faced by the rapidly growing unit. Combining various formations, the USF is forced to deal with people not ready for real combat work. Among the personnel, according to Madyar, there are "gastarbeiters, malingerers, and schemers".
Particular concern is caused by the possibility of traitors and spotters infiltrating the ranks of the units. In this regard, the command has appealed to all servicemen to be vigilant and immediately report any suspicious facts or attempts at bribery.
Operational results amidst internal problems
Despite internal challenges, the Unmanned Systems Forces demonstrate high effectiveness on the battlefield. Since the beginning of 2026, the unit has increased the number of targets hit in the operational and strategic depth of the enemy by 1150%. In particular, the actions of Ukrainian drones have led to large-scale power outages in Crimea and paralyzed communications in the rear of the occupiers, who are forced to rely on generators.
The high level of secrecy and effectiveness is confirmed by international sources. British journalists from The Times previously wrote about the "Kairos" unmanned systems battalion within the 414th "Madyar's Birds" Brigade. This is one of the most closed units, which regularly carries out special operations to strike important targets in the deep rear of Russia.
