The procedure for receiving annual financial assistance for health improvement has been simplified for Ukrainian military personnel. Now, a report to receive funds can be submitted in digital format using the 'Army+' mobile application. This innovation is designed to eliminate the need for paper red tape and speed up the approval process.
Payment Amount and Conditions for Receipt
According to current regulations, every year a serviceman has the right to receive financial support in the amount of one monthly pay. These funds are intended for health improvement.
Assistance can be received in two situations:
- When leaving for the annual main leave (in full or for the second part of it).
- Without going on leave — based on a report and the relevant order of the commander of the military unit.
Digitalization of the Process via 'Army+'
Previously, the procedure required filling out paper applications and waiting for their manual approval. Now, the Kyiv City TCC and SP reports that the process has been moved online. The serviceman only needs to log into the 'Army+' application and follow a simple instruction:
- Go to the 'Services' section.
- Select the 'Reports' item, then 'Payments' and the option 'Financial assistance for health improvement'.
- Confirm that the payment has not yet been received in the current year.
- Enter the necessary service data and add the commander's Army ID for approval.
After checking the entered data, the document can be signed and sent for consideration. The status of the application is tracked in the 'My Reports' section.
Additional Payments
In addition to health assistance, legislation provides for other financial incentives. It was previously reported that certain categories of military personnel could count on additional rewards depending on service conditions, the performance of combat tasks, and location. In particular, this refers to payments of up to 10,000 hryvnias, which are accrued for participation in events to ensure the defense of Ukraine and the performance of special tasks.
