The night missile attack on Kyiv dealt a serious blow to the city's infrastructure. One of the facilities hit was the warehouse of the well-known electronics and appliances chain MOYO. According to the company's press service, the warehouse contents burned completely — the fire destroyed all goods stored there.
Company losses and management response
MOYO emphasized that none of its employees were injured. Emergency services worked at the scene all night and into the morning. The company's press release included words of support and determination to continue operations:
«We lost a warehouse. But we did not lose our team. We did not lose our faith. We did not lose the desire to keep working».
Despite the massive losses, the company has already begun work to address the aftermath of the attack and resume operations.
Scale of destruction in Kyiv
According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, the enemy used dozens of ballistic missiles during the night attack. Kyiv was hit the hardest. As of now, there are 13 confirmed deaths and 86 injured, including two children.
There were direct hits on at least 20 residential buildings. In total, around a hundred buildings were damaged. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service continue working at 15 locations, clearing debris. According to Svyrydenko, people may still be trapped under the rubble.
Situation in the city
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko clarified that 70 of the 86 injured were hospitalized. Search and rescue operations are still ongoing in a damaged building in the Darnytskyi district. Due to the extensive destruction in the capital, public transport routes have also been adjusted to ensure movement in affected areas.
Events of the last hours demonstrate how vulnerable key infrastructure objects remain even under heightened alert conditions. Emergency services continue their work, while the city tries to adapt to new realities.
