In the night of August 11, 2026, a large-scale fire broke out at the logistics complex of the Wildberries marketplace in the Novousmansky district of the Voronezh region. Witnesses reported powerful explosions, and the company confirmed the evacuation of employees. The incident occurred in the village of Alexandrovka, where one of the company's largest hubs in central Russia is located.

Videos published on social media show thick plumes of black smoke rising high into the sky, accompanied by the sound of explosions. The burned facility is of strategic importance for the company's logistics network. The logistics complex in Alexandrovka was fully commissioned in November 2025. According to the Voronezh Region Investment Attraction Agency, the area of this giant is 152.9 thousand square meters, and its storage capacity exceeds 90 million product items. The RVB company (a combined structure of Wildberries and Russ) invested about 11 billion rubles in the construction of the facility. The failure of such a node could significantly disrupt supply chains in the region.

On the one hand, monitoring channels and a number of media outlets, citing the nature of the fire and the sound of explosions, lean towards the version of a drone attack, which fits into the context of recent incidents. On the other hand, official representatives of the authorities and the company have not yet named the cause of the fire, limiting themselves to the fact of evacuation and extinguishing. Some sources point to the possibility of a technical accident, however, the scale of the explosions reported by residents is more reminiscent of external interference.

This incident is not isolated. Wildberries has already been targeted by attacks several times this summer. Just a few days ago, on August 7, drones attacked the company's logistics complex in Yekaterinburg, located more than 1700 km from the border with Ukraine. Experts note that the marketplace has become a priority target due to large-scale sales of military equipment. The media reports that after attacks on infrastructure, sales of military goods on the platform dropped to record lows, although over three months, equipment worth 1.646 billion rubles was sold through Wildberries.
