Meteorologists from the Hydrometeorological Center of the Black and Azov Seas have warned residents of the region about a difficult situation that will persist in Odesa and the region in the coming days. From June 8 to 10, an extreme fire hazard of the fifth class is expected in the city itself.
Weather conditions and risks
Tomorrow in Odesa, variable cloudiness is forecasted, with no significant precipitation expected. However, the situation in the districts of the region will be different: local short-term rains and thunderstorms are expected. The fire hazard level in the region is expected to be moderate (Class III), and in some places — low (Class II).
On the roads of the region, fog is possible at night and in the morning in some places, which will reduce visibility to 1–2 kilometers. Drivers should be especially careful and observe safety rules on the highways.
Gas supply disruptions
Separate attention deserves the information about disruptions in gas supply. Under Odesa, three settlements will be left without gas for four days. Residents of these areas are advised to prepare in advance for possible inconveniences and use alternative energy sources.
Additional context
Recall that earlier, scientists named the main cause of the unprecedented dolphin mortality in the Odesa region. This event also attracted public attention and requires further monitoring of the ecological situation in the region.
