Fuel Prices at Gas Stations on September 16: OKKO and WOG Raised Gasoline, Diesel Held Steady

On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, the Ukrainian gas station market once again showed mixed dynamics: some networks updated their gasoline price tags, while others kept their rates unchanged. According to monitoring data, the OKKO and WOG networks raised the cost of certain gasoline grades by 1 hryvnia, while diesel fuel and liquefied gas at these same stations remained at their previous levels. Full stability was recorded at SOCAR and Ukrnafta, where price tags for all types of fuel remained unchanged.

OKKO and WOG: Gasoline Up by 1 Hryvnia

At OKKO, the increase affected the gasoline lines: the Pulls 95 and A-95 Euro grades each went up by 1 hryvnia. All other products, including diesel and gas, remained unchanged. WOG took a similar step: premium Gasoline 100, 95 Mustang, and 95 Euro rose by 1 hryvnia, while prices for diesel fuel and gas were maintained. Thus, the increase is targeted in nature and mainly concerns gasoline grades, which, according to RBC-Ukraine's assessment, brings certain types of gasoline close to the mark of around 90 hryvnia per liter.

Diesel and Gas: Stability Against the Backdrop of Rising Gasoline

The key feature of the day was the "freezing" of the diesel segment: none of the four tracked networks changed prices on diesel. Stability was also maintained for liquefied gas. This creates a contrasting picture: gasoline is rising in a targeted way, while diesel and gas hold their level, which is important for owners of freight and commercial vehicles, for whom diesel remains the main type of fuel.

The Gap Between Networks: Up to 500 Hryvnia for a Full Tank of Gasoline

The difference between the cheapest and the most expensive full tank of gasoline reached 500 hryvnia: A-95 at Ukrnafta will cost 4,195 hryvnia, while NANO 95 gasoline at SOCAR and Pulls 95 at OKKO cost 4,695 hryvnia. For diesel, the gap is 150 hryvnia — 4,845 hryvnia per tank at Ukrnafta versus 4,995 hryvnia for NANO diesel at SOCAR and Euro-5 diesel at WOG. For gas, the difference is minimal and equals 130 hryvnia: the cheapest gas at Ukrnafta costs 2,145 hryvnia, the most expensive at OKKO and WOG — 2,275 hryvnia per tank.

Context: Why the Networks Move Prices Differently

The divergent policy of the networks reflects differences in procurement strategies, logistics, and positioning: premium and "euro" grades, as a rule, react to changes faster, while basic lines and diesel are adjusted with a delay. For the consumer, this means that choosing a specific network and grade can save hundreds of hryvnia on each full tank. The next price tag updates will depend on the dynamics of the wholesale market and exchange-rate factors, which are traditionally passed on to retail with a lag.
