After the weekend, the automotive fuel market in Ukraine saw a mixed situation. While most major networks maintained their pricing policies without changes, the state-owned company 'Ukrnafta' revised its tariffs for certain types of fuel.
Stability in major networks
Market leaders — the OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR networks — started the new work week with unchanged price tags. According to RBK-Ukraine monitoring data, the cost of gasoline, diesel fuel, and liquefied gas at these stations fully matches the figures from last Friday, June 12. Car owners can refuel at these networks without fearing a sudden price spike.
Changes in the 'Ukrnafta' network
A different situation has arisen in the state-owned gas station network. 'Ukrnafta' became the only major player to make adjustments to its price list:
- A-95 Gasoline (Energy): The price increased by 3 hryvnias per liter. Now the fuel costs 77.90 UAH/l (previously — 74.90 UAH/l).
- A-92 Gasoline: The cost decreased by 1 hryvnia. The new price is 68.90 UAH/l (instead of 69.90 UAH/l).
- Diesel fuel (standard): The price also decreased by 1 hryvnia and now stands at 81.90 UAH/l.
Thus, owners of cars with diesel engines or those who prefer A-92 gasoline have gained a slight benefit from the price revision in the state network, while buyers of premium A-95 fuel faced a price increase.
