The fuel market in Ukraine on June 12 demonstrated high stability. Most gas station networks maintained their price lists unchanged compared to previous days. The only noticeable shift in favor of consumers was a decrease in the cost of liquefied gas in one of the major networks.
Stability in gasoline and diesel
According to RBK-Ukraine monitoring conducted on Friday, the cost of the main types of motor fuel — gasoline and diesel — remained unchanged at most popular gas stations. Car owners planning to refuel did not encounter sharp price spikes, which often concern the market during periods of instability.
Networks OKKO and WOG, which are market leaders, kept prices at the level recorded on June 11. A similar situation is observed at the gas stations of the state company Ukrnafta, where the cost of all fuel types also did not change.
Price drop for autogas at SOCAR
The exception to the general trend of stability was the SOCAR network. While prices for gasoline and diesel remained at the previous level, the cost of autogas was adjusted downwards. Buyers can expect savings: the price per liter of liquefied gas decreased by 1 hryvnia.
The new price is 45.99 UAH per liter, whereas previously it was 46.99 UAH. This decrease may be a pleasant surprise for owners of gas-powered vehicles, whose operating costs remain a relevant issue given current gasoline prices.
Weekly summary
Thus, on June 12, the fuel market in Ukraine is characterized by calm. The absence of price increases for gasoline and diesel in the largest networks, along with the local decrease in gas prices at SOCAR, forms a relatively calm picture for car owners at the moment.
