On the eve of summer, the Ukrainian automotive fuel market demonstrates relative stability. As of Wednesday, June 3, the largest gas station networks have maintained their current tariffs, which have not changed for the third day in a row. However, despite the absence of sharp spikes, the price difference between various brands remains noticeable, forcing drivers to carefully choose a place to refuel.

Price synchronization in the premium segment

The most interesting situation is observed in the premium network segment. Market leaders — OKKO and WOG — have established absolute price identity for all items. Drivers wishing to refuel their car with 100-octane gasoline will have to pay 89.90 hryvnias per liter.

Proprietary fuel grades also cost the same: A-95 (Pulls 95 and Mustang) is priced at 82.90 hryvnias, while standard A-95 Euro is available for 79.90 hryvnias. In the diesel fuel segment, the situation is similar: the improved grade is sold for 91.90 hryvnias, and the standard one — for 88.90 hryvnias. The cost of automotive gas at these stations is 47.90 hryvnias per liter.

SOCAR pricing strategy

The SOCAR network traditionally adheres to a strategy where prices are rounded to 99 kopecks, making them nominally higher than those of competitors. Thus, NANO 100 gasoline costs 89.99 hryvnias, and NANO 95 is offered at 83.99 hryvnias. Standard A-95 at these gas stations is priced at 79.99 hryvnias.

Diesel fuel also follows this logic: the premium NANO Extro grade costs 91.99 hryvnias, and regular NANO diesel — 88.99 hryvnias. The cost of automotive gas at SOCAR stations is 47.99 hryvnias per liter.

Ukrnafta: affordable prices for drivers

A significantly more lenient pricing policy is observed at the stations of the state company Ukrnafta. Here, prices are noticeably lower, making this network attractive for economical drivers. For example, A-98 Energy gasoline at Ukrnafta costs 82.90 hryvnias, which is equivalent to the price of regular A-95 at premium gas stations.

95 Energy gasoline can be purchased for 76.90 hryvnias, and standard A-95 — for 74.90 hryvnias. For owners of older cars using "second" gasoline, a liter of A-92 will cost 69.90 hryvnias. In the diesel segment, Energy class fuel costs 87.90 hryvnias, and regular diesel — 85.90 hryvnias. The cheapest among all the listed networks here is automotive gas, the price of which is 45.90 hryvnias per liter.
