On June 11, a noticeable drop in fuel prices was recorded in the Ukrainian automotive fuel market. Major gas station networks simultaneously revised their price lists, affecting the cost of diesel fuel and certain grades of gasoline.
According to monitoring by RBC-Ukraine, the price decline affected most key market players. Depending on the network and fuel type, the cost per liter decreased by between 1 and 3 hryvnias. However, it is worth noting that the price of premium gasoline grades remained unchanged at most stations.
Details of changes in major networks
Among the first to announce price adjustments were the OKKO and WOG networks. At these stations, the price of diesel fuel—both standard and premium—dropped by exactly 1 hryvnia. Automotive gas also became 1 hryvnia cheaper. Meanwhile, prices for all gasoline grades in these networks remained unchanged.
The SOCAR network showed similar dynamics. Here, a 1-hryvnia reduction applied to NANO and NANO Extra diesel grades. Other items, including gasoline and gas, remained at the previous day’s levels.
The most significant drop occurred at stations operated by the state-owned company Ukrnafta. The price of 95-octane gasoline (Energy) fell by 3 hryvnias. Premium diesel (Energy) became 2 hryvnias cheaper, and the price of automotive gas dropped by 1 hryvnia. Other fuel types in the company’s assortment retained their previous prices.
Thus, for car owners using diesel vehicles or gas, June 11 marked a day of tangible savings, while gasoline prices changed only in specific market segments.
