The situation in the Ukrainian fuel market as of October 2 is characterized by relative price stability ahead of the upcoming weekend. Most large filling station networks maintain their previously established prices, although targeted changes are recorded in certain chains, attracting the attention of car owners.
Price dynamics at Ukrnafta gas stations
One of the key events in the market was the decision of the Ukrnafta network to adjust the cost of premium fuel. In particular, the A-95 (Energy) petrol brand fell in price by 3 hryvnias per liter at once. Now this type of fuel is offered at a price of UAH 88.90, completely matching the price of regular A-95 petrol.
Market leaders and price stability
Meanwhile, leading fuel market operators such as OKKO, WOG, SOCAR, and UPG decided not to change their price tags before the weekend. At these filling stations, the cost of both petrol and diesel fuel remained at the level of previous days without any fluctuations, indicating a temporary balance of supply and demand.
Full tank cost difference
Experts note a noticeable difference in expenses when filling a full tank at different gas stations. Thus, the difference in the cost of a full tank of petrol between the cheapest and most expensive network is about 300 hryvnias. In the diesel fuel segment, the difference between basic networks and the premium operator SOCAR reaches 305 hryvnias.
