The fuel market in Ukraine is showing mixed dynamics this week. As of Tuesday, June 23, most major networks have kept their price lists at the previous level, however, a noticeable decrease in the cost of autogas has been recorded in that segment.
Gas price drop in the “Ukrnafta” network
The main event of the last 24 hours was a change in pricing within the network of the state operator “Ukrnafta”. The company announced a reduction in the cost of autogas by 50 kopecks. If previously one had to pay 40.90 hryvnias for a liter of “blue fuel”, the price is now 40.40 hryvnias.
This change makes the “Ukrnafta” offer the most affordable option among all represented networks. Thus, the state company maintains leadership in terms of minimum fuel cost, offering drivers one of the lowest prices on the market.
Premium networks hold prices
While “Ukrnafta” adjusted its tariffs, major private players in the market — the OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR networks — have maintained their pricing policy without changes. Fuel prices in these networks remained at the level of the previous day.
In particular, prices for premium types of gasoline and diesel fuel in these networks remain above the 80 hryvnias per liter mark. Price stability in the premium segment contrasts with the slight decrease in the state network, however, the price gap between different types of fuel remains significant.
