The fuel market in Ukraine experienced a local price correction. While most major networks maintained stability on Tuesday, June 30, the state-owned company «Ukrnafta» made significant changes to its price lists. The reason was not market volatility, but the end of special promotional offers.
Stability vs. Change
According to monitoring data, major private market players — the OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR networks — kept retail prices at the previous level. Drivers accustomed to refueling at these stations did not notice any changes in fuel costs.
The situation was radically different at «Ukrnafta» gas stations. The company returned to standard tariffs after the end of the promo period, which led to a noticeable price jump for popular fuel grades.
What got more expensive and what got cheaper
The most noticeable changes affected the premium fuel grades of the Energy line. Gasoline A-95, which was previously offered at a promotional price, increased by 3 UAH per liter. Its cost is now 76.90 UAH, whereas it previously stood at 73.90 UAH.
A similar fate befell the branded diesel fuel (DP Energy). Losing the discount, it increased by 1.50 UAH, reaching a price of 76.90 UAH/l.
However, not all changes went in the direction of an increase. For regular diesel fuel, the network adjusted the price in the opposite direction, reducing the cost by 50 kopecks. Now, a liter of standard diesel at «Ukrnafta» costs 74.90 UAH.
Unchanged positions
Despite the price review, some items remained affordable. Gasoline A-92 continues to cost 68.90 UAH, and automotive gas — 39.40 UAH. These tariffs allow «Ukrnafta» to maintain its status as one of the most affordable offers on the market for owners of budget cars.
