Gossip, as a rule, starts with an innocent chat over a cup of coffee, but within minutes it turns into a full-blown discussion of someone else's personal life. The entertainment project Styler, part of the RBC-Ukraine media holding, published an astrological ranking that identifies which Zodiac signs are most prone to retelling other people's stories. According to the publication, Gemini and Aquarius topped the list, while Capricorn and Taurus bring up the rear, preferring to steer clear of gossip.

Top of the ranking: communicativeness as the main engine of gossip

Gemini took first place thanks to their natural communicativeness and boundless love of new information. According to Styler, representatives of this sign quickly learn the latest details, easily keep a conversation going on any topic, and can be the first to bring friends a news item no one has heard yet. It is precisely the combination of curiosity, a broad outlook, and the need to share what they have learned that makes Gemini, in the authors' view, the main "carriers" of gossip.

In second place are Aquarius. According to the text, they know many other people's secrets, since they easily find common ground with the most diverse people. Aquarius enjoy collecting unusual facts and stories and then discussing them in their close circle. Sagittarius rounds out the top three: it loves interesting stories and is often happy to share a fresh piece of news with friends. If a piece of gossip seems funny or incredible to it, it will be especially hard to keep it to itself, the authors note.

Middle of the list: from drama to a heart-to-heart talk

Libra easily keeps a conversation going on any topic, and other people's love stories spark a particular interest. Cancer actively takes an interest in other people's affairs, since it loves to know what is going on in the lives of those close to it. Sometimes an ordinary chat with friends easily turns into a discussion of the latest news, the authors point out. Anti-ranking: signs that keep gossip at a distance

Capricorn, according to Styler, usually sees no point in spending time discussing someone else's personal life and is more likely to focus on its own affairs than to collect gossip. Taurus may listen to an interesting story, but is unlikely to actively spread it further: representatives of this sign value peace and dislike excessive drama. Virgo will notice details of someone else's life that others might miss, but does not necessarily rush to share them; if it does discuss someone, it usually tries to add its own analysis to the conversation.

Scorpio, on the contrary, may know far more than it shows, since it is good at spotting people's hidden motives. However, it will not tell everything it knows — especially if it considers the information truly important. Aries is capable of getting drawn into an interesting conversation, especially if the story is emotional or scandalous, but it usually quickly gets tired of discussing other people's affairs for long.
