Strict measures to curb energy consumption are coming into force again in Ukraine. On June 30, power outage schedules will be in effect across all regions of the country. Restrictions will affect both industrial enterprises and private households.

The Cause: Abnormal Heat and Air Conditioners

According to Ukrenergo, the power system is operating under critical load due to abnormally high temperatures. The company YASNO explained the situation with a simple fact: the mass use of air conditioners has led to a sharp spike in consumption.

Experts cite a specific figure: every degree of temperature increase adds about 100 MW of load to the system. This is a critical factor for the power grid, which is still recovering from large-scale enemy attacks on infrastructure.

Where to Check the Schedule for Your Address

Since the situation is dynamic and may change depending on the weather, energy experts recommend monitoring official sources. Schedules are introduced exclusively to prevent a total collapse and maintain system stability.

Up-to-date information on outage times in your area can be found on the websites of local distribution system operators (oblenergo). For residents of Kyiv and the Dnipropetrovsk region, special resources of the YASNO company are available.
