Ukrainians can expect classic summer weather with characteristic contrasts on Monday, June 22. Forecasters predict a combination of high temperatures and precipitation: the air will warm up to comfortable levels during the day, however, short-term rain and thunderstorms cannot be ruled out in several regions.
Weather forecast for June 22
According to data from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center published by RBK-Ukraine, the sky in the country will be predominantly cloudy. The night hours will pass without precipitation, allowing temperatures to drop to 14–19°C. Nights in the eastern regions will be cooler — from 11 to 16°C.
The daytime period will bring noticeable warming. In most of the country, temperatures will rise to 26–31°C. In the eastern regions, the thermometer will reach 23–28°C during the day. The exception will be the south and southeast of Ukraine, where precipitation is not expected during the day.
Weather in Kyiv and the region
Residents of the capital will also face changeable weather. On Monday, variable cloudiness is expected in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. No precipitation is forecast for the night; the temperature in the capital will be 17–19°C, and in the region — 14–19°C.
During the day in Kyiv, the air will warm up to 30°C. However, forecasters warn of the likelihood of short-term rains, and thunderstorms are possible in some areas of the region. Throughout the region, daytime temperatures will fluctuate between 26–31°C.
