The Ukrainian men's national volleyball team has concluded its debut journey in the Nations League playoffs. In a tense quarterfinal match, the Ukrainians lost to the tournament's defending champions and leaders of the world ranking — the Polish national team. Despite the defeat, reaching this stage was a historic achievement for Ukrainian volleyball.
The path of the "blue and yellows" to the playoffs was difficult but successful. At the end of the preliminary round, the team took seventh place, which guaranteed them participation in the decisive stage of the tournament. A convincing victory over the German national team played an important role, allowing them to secure a ticket to the quarterfinals.

The team showed a high level of play and the ability to compete with the strongest national teams in the world. Now the "blue and yellows" are switching their attention to the upcoming European Championship, where their first opponent on September 10 will be the Israeli national team.
