The draw for the women's singles quarterfinals at Roland Garros has been finalized. The tournament bracket has unfolded in such a way that Ukrainian fans have a unique opportunity to witness a historic clash between two of the country's leading tennis players — Elina Svitolina and Marta Kostyuk. This match will be the main event of Tuesday, June 2.

The path to the quarterfinals for many participants was filled with incredible intrigue. A prime example was the match between Anna Kalinskaya and the Austrian Anastasia Potapova. The match stretched into three sets and concluded only in a super tie-break of the deciding set with a score of 6:4, 2:6, 6:7 (7). Kalinskaya will now face a tournament sensation — the Polish player Maija Hwalinska.

World number one Aryna Sabalenka confirmed her status in the first women's evening match at Roland Garros in several years. She convincingly defeated the titled Japanese player Naomi Osaka with a score of 7:5, 6:3, demonstrating class and composure.
Main Event: The Ukrainian Derby
Although all quarterfinal matches are scheduled for June 2–3, the central event will be the match taking place on Tuesday, June 2. Elina Svitolina and Marta Kostyuk will take the court as the second match of the day. The estimated start time is no earlier than 13:20 Kyiv time (possibly at 14:00).
