In the morning in Odessa, a tense situation unfolded that could have ended in tragedy. In the Khadjibey district, a man entered a barbershop, locked the door from the inside, and refused to let the customers out. Law enforcement officers immediately rushed to the scene.

The alarm about the hostage situation was received on the special 102 hotline early in the morning. An unknown man entered the barbershop premises and blocked the entrance. Police officers arrived at the scene promptly and began negotiations with the man who had locked himself inside.
