The first "live" photos of the Huawei Nova 16 smartphone, which has not yet been officially presented, have appeared on Chinese social media. The image shows one of the models from the new lineup — the base version Huawei Nova 16, Huawei Nova 16 Pro, or Huawei Nova 16 Pro Max, although the exact modification is currently unknown.
Judging by the image, Huawei decided to retain the design of the Nova 15 series. The smartphone features a rectangular camera module with two large black circular lenses. However, the design of the back panel differs from previously published renders, which may indicate several design options or changes prior to release.
The main feature of the device is a gradient body with a transition between blue and purple colors. The shades cover not only the back cover but also the frame around the camera. According to rumors, the entire Nova 16 series will be executed in a unified style. It is also possible that the photo shows a special Nova Anniversary Edition.
The new lineup is expected to debut on June 1, with the advertising campaign starting next week.
