A sharp political crisis is unfolding in Hungary. The country's Prime Minister, Madjar, stated that the government will secure the resignation of President Tamás Shuyok if he does not step down voluntarily. This statement came immediately after a meeting between the head of government and the head of state.

The situation in the country has escalated to the breaking point. Madjar emphasized that the Hungarian Constitution provides several mechanisms for removing the president from office. However, the government intends to avoid the impeachment procedure.

According to the Prime Minister, the main goal of the authorities is to preserve the authority of the presidential institution. Supporters of Shuyok's voluntary departure believe that this will help avoid a public scandal and prolonged political confrontation, which would inevitably arise if the impeachment procedure were launched.
