Significant personnel changes have occurred in the Ukrainian political agenda. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially announced his intention to appoint Igor Klimenko as the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

According to information received by RBC-Ukraine, the head of state personally announced his decision. Zelenskyy emphasized that Klimenko will continue his work for the benefit of the country, focusing on issues of state protection and citizen security.

"I offered him the position of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. The corresponding decree on the appointment is already being prepared," the president stated.

A New Phase in Security Work

The appointment of Igor Klimenko to such a responsible post indicates the country's leadership's trust in his professional qualities. The Secretary of the NSDC plays a key role in coordinating the work of law enforcement agencies and developing national security strategies.
