Apple has released critical security updates for its mobile operating systems. iPhone and iPad users now have access to iOS 26.5.2 and iPadOS 26.5.2.   • Clipboard security: the possibility of covertly stealing data from the clipboard when visiting websites has been blocked (CVE-2026-43721). Attackers can no longer silently copy text or links saved by the user.

Kernel and Graphics Stability

In addition to the browser, the update also affected deeper levels of the operating system. Patches in the Kernel and IOGPUFamily components are aimed at improving device stability. Fixed errors could have caused sudden smartphone reboots or unauthorized data writing to kernel memory, which is critical for the security of the entire system.
